I finally have been working on some things once again. Funny how life gets in the way of art sometimes. I love the new mini distress ink pads that Tim Holtz and Ranger have released this year so I decided to participate in the June tag. You can check out the process on Tim Holtz's blog http://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-2014-june/. I used Tim's crocodile stencil #22 to apply the watercolor background then using a blending tool added Wild Honey distress ink on top. The other variation that I used was the little boy on this TH stamp was solid black so I painted the inside space with white gesso then proceeded to paint the image with the water brush with distress ink. Hope you enjoy and be sure to check out Tim's blog because his work is truly amazing!
Got a chance to meet Ms Dyan Reaveley at Stampaway. She does really cool Journals.
And of course Tim Holtz was there too demonstrating his awesome products and talents. Had a great time purchasing new goodies to try!!
Stampaway here we come! Marla and I are in Cincinnati for the rubber stamp show this weekend and these are my ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) for this year. The background papers were done on the Gelli Plate and all of the stamped images used are from my favorite company Stampers Anonymous (Tim Holtz designs) and the verses are from Donna Downey. Hope you enjoy! ~Carol
